San Carlos de Bariloche Airport Aeropuertos Vip Club (Domestic)
Not surprisingly, this is a no frills lounge, as the San Carlos de Bariloche Airport is quite small in size. It does, however, have an unusual entry procedure. In the lobby (pre-security) of the airport, there is a phone near the customer service desk to call the VIP lounge to request entry. After getting the flight details, the attendant asked us to go through security and call them again from a customer service phone near Gate 2 in the main departure hall. She then escorted us to the lounge, as it is located in an inaccessible area near the bridge where passengers board their plane.
The lounge is fairly small with less than 20 seats. This is not a big problem, as there are not very many flights. There are large windows that face the runway, providing an excellent view of the planes taking off.The food selection was extremely limited, with a few pastries and medialunas (croissants) available, as well as some sandwiches and yogurt in the fridge. There was a hot drinks counter with an espresso coffee machine along with tea nearby. Finally, the fridge contained cold drinks including soft drinks, juice, water, Powerade and wine (white, red and sparkling).Considering the size of the airport, this small lounge was more than suitable as a comfortable place to relax before our flight. Luckily, we had eaten dinner not long before, as this lounge would not be a good place to have a pre-flight meal. We appreciated the decent wifi speeds and friendly staff, who also escorted us to our boarding gate when it was time for our flight.

Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport Aeropuertos VIP Club
As a small airport, Puerto Iguazú calls passengers to go through security when their flight is almost ready for boarding. The lounge is located in a post-security restricted area, similar to the Bariloche lounge. Therefore, in order to access the lounge, we needed to call a representative using a phone at customer service in the pre-security lobby. After that, we were escorted to the security check by a very friendly attendant, who we then followed into the lounge. Unfortunately, our flight was late at night, so we only had a brief twenty minutes inside before it closed. The small lounge was clean and comfortable with various couches located throughout. There were a variety of snacks available, such as alfajores, chocolates, nuts, granola bars and incredibly large brownies! There was also an espresso machine and a kettle for tea.Stored in a small fridge was red and white wine, local beer, soft drinks and Powerade.Wifi speeds were fairly slow at 5mb/sec download, but adequate for basic web surfing.
We wish we had more time to spend in the lounge, as it is a quiet, clean and comfortable place to relax before a flight.

Ezeiza International Airport Star Alliance Lounge
With modern furniture and decor, the Star Alliance Lounge provides a unique seating experience compared to other typical airport lounges. Seats range from swivel chairs lined with cow hides to elegant armchairs and ottomans. Throughout the lounge, each section is separated by wooden shelves, tables or houseplants and each area has a different style. This gives this ordinarily unremarkable rectangular room a fresh new inviting feeling of being at home. Upon entering the lounge, we immediately noticed the pleasant perfume-like aroma purposely engineered to provide a pleasant stay for guests. The staff were friendly and extremely proficient, as they constantly cleared dishes and cleaned tables, keeping the room virtually spotless.
Despite being over half full, the room was extremely quiet, making it a perfect place to get work done or relax in silence. At the main food station a few steps inside the lounge, the hot food selection consisted of two options, a chicken with leek dish and a vegetable pie. Although this selection was limited, there was also a healthy salad bar and charcuterie, including cold cuts, cheeses, bread, crackers, and pickled items. If you did not feel inclined to walk across the lounge to get food or drinks, there were two additional food and drink stations on the opposite side of the lounge.Aside from the usual coffee, tea, and sodas, there was an array of premium spirits, local wines, champagne, as well as local craft beer and some other imported brews.
Other amenities included showers, a business centre and a small library tucked away in the back of the lounge. The wifi was not particularly fast, but adequate for basic functions. I was able to stream a hockey game in medium visual quality with no issues. The gender neutral single person washrooms were clean. Despite the small hot food selection, this immaculately clean and quiet lounge offered an excellent place to relax with drinks and snacks before a flight.
The attention to detail, aesthetically pleasing variety of furnishings and pleasant aroma make it one of our favourite airport lounges we’ve visited up to this point. Since we were traveling in business class we were able to use the lounge at any time; we noticed at 11:00pm when the lounge opened to Priority Pass holders it became much busier!
