Air China Business Class Lounge
We visited the Air China Business Class Lounge late at night on a connection to Istanbul. The room itself is enormous! In fact, it even has a map near the front door to ensure guests know where everything is.
Not surprisingly, it has ample seating. Near each seat are plugs to charge devices. The bathrooms were not sparkling clean, but I would imagine they were cleaner than the public ones in the main terminal. The decor in the lounge was tasteful, with accents such as palm trees, pillars and ceiling flood lights that resemble stars in the sky.Because our visit was late at night, the hot food selection was limited to steamed buns, dumplings and noodle soup.
There were also a variety of snacks and treats available including gummy bears and daifukumochi! A full service bar was operational, with spirits, as well as beer and wine being served.
Guests were required to scan their boarding pass at a kiosk to receive a personalized wifi code. The network provided adequate speeds of 3.26mb/s DL and 1.26mb/s UL, however, it was prone to cutting out.
Overall, the Air China Business Class Lounge was comfortable and quiet. If the wifi network was less temperamental and the food selection was more varied, it would have enhanced our experience.
Our overall rating: 8/10
